Knights’ councils help religious sisters
For more than a decade, Knights of Columbus councils at St. Philip Neri and Mary Our Queen parishes in Omaha have cooked a Czech roast pork dinner to support the Notre Dame Sisters’ retirement fund.
This year is no different.
The councils will heat up the ovens for an 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 24 dinner of pork, dumplings, sauerkraut, rolls and dessert at St. Philip Neri’s activities center.
There also will be live polka music, kolaches, and crafts made by the sisters.
