Marian High unveils new lab

New lighting, projectors, work stations and more are part of Marian High School’s updated chemistry labs in Omaha.

Work began last spring and stretched into the fall at the all-girls school, when makeshift labs were set up in another classroom while students and faculty waited.

A recent ribbon cutting officially opened the labs, and senior Isabelle Swanson, who plans to study chemical engineering or systems engineering in college, was excited.

"I am looking forward to the activities the updated labs will allow us to participate in," Swanson said. "Creating lab reports are really important in chemistry classes, especially in college, so this will give us all the confidence we need in the future."
