New Cassel hires president and CEO

An administrator for 13 years at senior living communities in Omaha has been hired as president and CEO at New Cassel Retirement Center in Omaha.

Tracy Lichti on Nov. 19 will succeed Julie Sebastian, who is moving to San Jose, Calif., after four years leading the retirement home. Lichti served four years at The Heritage at Sterling Ridge, and nearly nine years before that at St. Joseph Tower.

“I am honored to be selected to lead New Cassel Retirement Center and look forward to building new relationships with residents, families, associates, Franciscan Adult Day Care Center participants and community supporters,” Lichti said.

Sponsored by the School Sisters of St. Francis, New Cassel offers Christian-based community and assisted living to people 65 and older. It also has a day center for adults who have Alzheimer’s, dementia and other special needs.
