Serra Club installs new officers

New officers of the Serra Club of West Omaha were installed in late May to serve for the 2019-20 fiscal year, which began June 1. 

The newly-appointed officers included: Julia Palzer, president; Jolene Jefferies, president-elect; Mary Ann Casey, secretary; Jerry Smith, treasurer; Stacey Floersch, vice president of events; Chris Tooker, vice president of programs; John Lingo, vice president of vocations; Hugh Spellman, vice president of membership; and Bob Hamilton, vice president of communication. 

Trustees are Robert Fell, immediate past president, Bernie Schaefer and Joe Vlock.

The Serra Club of West Omaha, which has approximately 95 current members, is part of a worldwide organization of Catholic lay men and women with a mission to foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life of the Catholic Church.
