Skutt, Guardian Angels claim speech titles

V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha won Class B and Guardian Angels Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School in West Point topped Class C2 in the Nebraska School Activities Association State Speech Championships March 27-28 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Three students from Guardian Angels and 11 from Skutt were state champions in individual categories.

Two other Catholic schools placed third at the competition: Marian High School in Omaha in Class B and Holy Family High School in Lindsay in Class D2.
