St. Mary School principal kisses pig
The students more than met their challenge, so the principal of St. Mary School in Bellevue lived up to hers.
Applying pink lipstick and smiling broadly, Patricia Wallinger kissed a pig.
The May 25 ceremony fulfilled the principal’s promise to students if they sold 600 raffle tickets for the annual benefit auction. They sold 642, bringing in $6,420 for St. Mary Parish and School.
And the pig? It arrived and left safely with members of the Douglas/Sarpy County 4-H program.
