TEC honors Bellevue resident
The international Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) movement will honor a Bellevue resident with its highest award during the group’s annual TEC Encounter in Quincy, Ill., July 29-31.
Dale Kreher, a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Omaha, will receive the 2016 Heritage Award, recognizing his commitment to the TEC movement on the local, regional and national levels.
Involved with TEC since 1975, Kreher has trained TEC leaders, served as Nebraska state representative and coordinator for the Region 9 Leadership Council and as a bookkeeper for local and national TEC programs.
Founded in 1965 in Battle Creek, Mich., TEC serves older adolescents and young adults through retreats and other faith-building experiences.
