New principals/head teachers announced

The Catholic Schools Office for the Archdiocese of Omaha has announced the newly assigned principals and head teachers for the 2007-2008 school year.

The following is a list of the new assignments:

Katherine Griffen - Principal of Archbishop Bergan Catholic Elementary School in Fremont. Served in the Fremont Public School System from 2006-2007. Prior to that, she was at Archbishop Bergan Catholic High School in Fremont.

Chris Bernard - Principal of Cedar Catholic High School in Hartington.

Michael Loftin - Principal at Central Catholic High School in West Point. Served as assistant principal at Melvern Iowa High School from 2006-2007.

Christopher Segrell - Principal of Christ the King School in Omaha. Served as assistant principal at Christ the King School from 2006-2007. Prior to that, he was a teacher at Christ the King School.

Terri Anderson - Principal of Holy Cross School in Omaha. Taught at St. Vincent de Paul School from 2006-2007 and prior to that was a teacher at Holy Cross School in Omaha.

Mary Goodart - Principal of Howells Community Catholic Schools. Previously worked at St. Wenceslaus School in Dodge.

Joseph Fustos - Principal of Pope John XXXIII Central Catholic High School in Elgin. Previously served as principal at St. Augustine Indian Mission in Winnebago.

Donald Blackbird Jr. - Head Teacher at St. Augustine Indian Mission in Winnebago. Former teacher at St. Augustine Indian Mission.

Therese Nelson - Principal of St. Bernadette School in Bellevue. Was cadre associate for Omaha Public Schools.

Leigh McKeehan - Principal of St. Peter Claver Cristo Rey Catholic High School in Omaha. Taught for Millard Public Schools.

Scott Becker - Head Teacher of St. Rose of Lima School in Crofton. Former teacher at East Catholic School in Bow Valley.
