Group aims to transform abortion debate into dialogue

Training sessions offered in Norfolk, St. Edward

A Kansas-based organization is offering workshops in Nebraska next month designed to help people transform the abortion debate into dialogue. “It’s to teach folks how to engage on the issue of abortion, as an opportunity for dialogue rather than contentious debate,” said Tom Venzor, associate director for pro-life and family with the Nebraska Catholic Conference. The group – Justice for All – will have representatives at Sacred Heart Parish Center in Norfolk from 6:15 to 9 p.m. June 6, and at St. Edward Church in St. Edward from 6 to 9 p.m. June 8. The group also will be at St. Mary Cathedral in Grand Island June 4 and Aquinas High School in David City June 9, and at the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow June 3.
