Theology on Tap Lenten series announced
Omaha Theology on Tap, a speaker series for young adults in their 20s and 30s, will hold its 2008 Lenten Series Feb. 21 and 28, and March 6 at Barrett's Barley Corn, 4322 Leavenworth St.
Father Richard Hauser, SJ, professor of theology at Creighton University in Omaha, will present "Where is God in Suffering" Feb. 21.
"Tasting the Fruitfulness of Lent" will be the topic Feb. 28, presented by Father Andy Alexander, SJ, vice president of Ministry at Creighton University.
A March 6 panel discussion, titled "The Drive to Go Forth," will feature Abbot Michael Liebl, OSB, of Mount Michael Benedictine Abbey in Elkhorn; Father Roc O'Connor, SJ, rector of the Jesuit Community at Creighton University; Father Andy Sohm, assistant pastor of St. Stephen the Martyr Church in Omaha; and Sister Ginny Silvestri, OSM, provincial of the Servants of Mary in Omaha.
Each Theology on Tap programs will include dinner and drink specials at 6:30 p.m., speaker at 7:30 p.m., and question and answer sessions at 8:15 p.m.
