Four MCS students in All-State Band

Four students from two Omaha schools participating in Music in Catholic Schools are part of the 2018 Eighth-Grade All-State Band.

Henry Biesanz, second tenor saxophone, and Emily Lamoureux, fourth horn in F, both of St. James/Seton School; and Aidan Rhodes, second trombone, and Nathan Kigerl, fourth tuba, both of St. Robert Bellarmine School, will participate in the Nebraska State Bandmasters’ 82-piece band for eighth-graders.

More than 400 eighth-graders auditioned for the band, which will rehearse and perform Jan. 13 at Kearney High School in Kearney, Neb.
