Archbishop’s Dinner for Education honorees announced

Eight educators have been named the 48th annual Archbishop Dinner for Education honorees for their positive impact on Catholic schools in northeast Nebraska and their commitment to helping students reach their full academic and spiritual potential.

“Each of our 2025 honorees has made a profound and lasting impact on their students’ lives, helping them develop confidence, discover their potential, and grow in their faith,” said Vickie Kauffold, superintendent of Catholic schools for the Archdiocese of Omaha. “I’m very proud to have these excellent educators in the Archdiocese of Omaha.”

This is the first year that educators from St. Joseph in Atkinson and Our Lady of Lourdes in Omaha have been honored at the event, to be held Sept. 18 at CHI Health Center Omaha.

This year’s winners:

ADMINISTRATORS OF THE YEAR

ELEMENTARY EDUCATORS OF THE YEAR

SECONDARY EDUCATORS OF THE YEAR

MAGINN FAMILY FOUNDATION EDUCATORS OF THE YEAR (for service to inner-city and underserved youth)

The Dinner for Education raises money for needs-based scholarships to help students attend a Catholic school of their families’ choice. Historically, the dinner has raised enough money to provide tuition assistance for approximately 300 students. Information on the dinner or to donate, can be found here.
