Archdiocese of Omaha names new Director of Stewardship and Development
August 19, 2024
Bree Kotulak has been named the Director of Stewardship and Development for the Archdiocese of Omaha.
“I am grateful and humbled by this opportunity and look forward to building upon the incredible foundation we have established in the archdiocese’s Stewardship and Development Office (SDO),” Kotulak said.
Kotulak was appointed interim director of the SDO in November when then-director Shannan Brommer was named the Executive Director of the Omaha Catholic School Consortium.
After a nationwide search to replace Brommer, Kotulak – who has spent the past eight years in the SDO leading the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal – emerged as the strongest candidate.
“I am grateful to Bree for her continued service, and I remain confident of more great work to come,” Archbishop George J. Lucas said. “Bree knows our mission well and has led many successful Archbishop’s Annual Appeal campaigns. She brings an expansive knowledge of the Stewardship and Development Office’s work and the faithful we serve in northeast Nebraska.”
Kotulak has over 13 years of experience in the development industry, including at Creighton University. She and her husband, Joe, are active leaders in their parish, St. Frances Cabrini.
