Bethlehem House to hold benefit

A home for pregnant women will hold its fifth annual benefit Oct. 27 at the Embassy Suites in La Vista.

Bethlehem House’s "Under Construction" event will include a 5:30 p.m. silent auction and 7 p.m. dinner, program and live auction. Tickets are $125.

Holly Sak, executive director, said a resident or graduate of Bethlehem House will describe how the home helps women at a crossroads rebuild their material and spiritual lives.

The house, which has 11 beds, also hopes in the year ahead to increase the number of women it can serve, and the program will include discussion of those plans, Sak said.
