CeleBration 33 raises more than $250,000

Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School raised more than $250,000 April 29 at its annual fundraiser, "CeleBration 33, Our Grand Affair," in LaVista.

More than 400 people attended the event, which included live and silent auctions, a raffle, dinner and a dance. The Bellevue school also presented the "Dux Esto" award – its highest honor – to John and Margaret Egermier and family for their leadership and support.

Chair couples were Tim and Carrie Powers, Don and Sara Powers Merrill and John and Liz Powers Schow.
