Columbus man top insurance agent

Tyson Owens, a Catholic Order of Foresters (COF) insurance agent and member of St. Bonaventure Parish in Columbus, is the order’s Agent of the Year.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a company which shares my Catholic values,” Owens said. “It truly is a blessing to represent a company that gives back to the community and sincerely cares about its members.”

Tyson also was one of 20 top agents in the nonprofit life insurance company and Catholic fraternal organization to receive a Richard Tobin Benevolence Award, worth $500 each, which is donated to a church, school or community organization of the winner’s choice. Tyson donated his award to an annual fundraiser in Kentucky that benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Central Cincinnati Chapter, which works toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
