Couples honored for their positive impact on the Archdiocese of Omaha

The Archbishop’s Committee for Development (ACD) honored its newest Quarter-Century Club members at the 47th Annual ACD Recognition Dinner on June 6 at the Happy Hollow Country Club in Omaha.

This year’s inductees were Kathy and the late Herb Albers, Elaine and Erv Eisenmenger, Joanne and Dr. Richard Feldhaus, Ann and Dr. Jim McGill, Laura and Dr. Tim Mergens, the late Betsy and Bob Reed, Sr., Rose and Ed Regan, Kelly and Dr. Britt Thedinger, Ellen and Herman Weist, and Kathy and Dr. Milt Zadina.

Archbishop George J. Lucas thanked each of the ten couples for their positive impact on the archdiocese and their generous support and dedication to their parishes, Catholic schools and other Church ministries.

Established in 1972, the ACD has 190 members who provide leadership and expertise to the archbishop concerning Catholic education, stewardship, estate planning, development and finance.
