LOCKS OF LOVE

St. Patrick School fourth-grader Caleigh Copenhaver smiles, school parent Angie Arkfeld holds a lock of her hair, and classmate Caroline Kemp and parent Kim Mandolfo react with surprise at how short Copenhaver’s hair became as she helped Locks of Love April 29. More than 30 students and parents at the Elkhorn school got haircuts to help the organization provide hair to children who have lost theirs because of a medical condition. Copenhaver’s mother, Jenn Copenhaver, is in red sweater behind her daughter.
