Marian High students walk to raise money

A four-mile walk and a dance party in the parking lot Sept. 29 capped Marian High School’s annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser, which raised more than $119,000 for tuition assistance and technology needs.

Competing among grades, students at the all-girls school in Omaha solicited sponsors for the walk, but also held bake sales, car washes and other activities to raise money.
