Mass to remember those who died by suicide

The Archdiocese of Omaha is sponsoring a Mass of Remembrance on All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, for those who have died by suicide. Archbishop Michael McGovern will preside at the 2 p.m. Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Omaha.

Family members and friends grieving the loss of a loved one are encouraged to bring a photograph of the person they wish to pray for to be placed in the Sanctuary during Mass.

The Mass is a way of remembering those who have died by suicide and encourages all Catholics to provide hope and healing for those who mourn the death of a loved one who has died by suicide.
