New Parish Center

Archbishop George J. Lucas and Father Daniel Kampschneider, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Omaha, join hundreds of parishioners June 16 for a ribbon cutting to open their new Parish Center. People then entered the center for a dedication ceremony and blessing by the archbishop, a celebration meal and self-guided tours. The two-story, 29,000-square-foot facility includes a large hall, meeting rooms, kitchen and an outreach center/food pantry. Nearly 1,300 families and individuals donated nearly $7.3 million to build the facility. MIKE MAY/STAFF
