Photos: World Day for Consecrated Life

Dozens of consecrated women from orders in the Archdiocese of Omaha gathered Feb. 1 at St. Patrick Church in Elkhorn to share Mass with Archbishop Michael McGovern and parishioners in celebration of World Day for Consecrated Life.

Instituted by Saint John Paul II in 1997, the Church observes World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life on Feb. 2 annually as a chance to celebrate and pray for consecrated men and women and those discerning this vocation.
