Professionals group to honor business leaders

The Catholic Professional & Business Club will honor two business leaders who exemplify Catholic principles in the workplace at its fourth annual Leading with Faith Award luncheon. 

Archbishop George J. Lucas will present the award during the luncheon March 14 at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha.

This year’s finalists and their parishes include: Trenten Bausch, Cline Williams law firm, Omaha, St. Margaret Mary; Dana Burkey, Midwest Laboratories, Omaha, St. Patrick in Elkhorn; Eric Crawford, Heart Ministry Center, Omaha, Sacred Heart; Harry Knobbe, Harry Knobbe Feedyards, Livestock Sales and Commodities, Inc., West Point, St. Mary in West Point.

They also include Joseph Kozol, Kozy Lawn Care, Omaha, St. James; Larry Neppl, Harry A. Koch Co., Omaha, St. Patrick in Gretna; Deacon Dave Probst, New Cassel Retirement Center, Omaha, St. Patrick in Fremont; Ann Schumacher, CHI Health Immanuel, Omaha, St. Leo the Great; Sam Wageman, Fusion Medical Staffing, Omaha, St. Patrick in Elkhorn. 

Keynote speaker at the luncheon will be Michele Fleming, professor at the Townsend Institute for Leadership at Concordia University in Irvine, Calif.
