Preceded in death by father, Manuel; mother, Juana; sister, Emily; brothers, Philip and Thomas Puente. Survived by wife, Ramona; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. John Christopher and Theresa Puente, Lincoln, and Jacob Puente; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa M. Puente, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Leslie R. Puente-Prai and Scott Prai, and Rebecca and Bradey Gotto, Carlsbad, Calif.; seven grandchildren; great-granddaughter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie Puente, Mary Puente, Carmen Luna, and  Jimmie Nelson, all of Grand Island, Virginia and Richard Soto, Wood River, Teresa and Richard Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Manuel and Josie Puente, and Andrew and Nancy Puente, all of Grand Island, and Doris Puente, Baltimore, Md.; nieces; nephews; friends.
