Radio ministry collects winter clothing

Spirit Catholic Radio is holding its annual Warm Up Winter campaign to provide warm clothing to needy people throughout the archdiocese.

New coats, boots, hats, gloves, mittens, socks and other items are being collected through Dec. 28 for distribution by Catholic Charities, said Jim Carroll, executive director of the statewide Catholic radio network.

In Omaha, donations can be taken to Spirit Catholic Radio studios at 13326 A St. or Catholic Charities, 3300 N. 60th St.

In Columbus, donations go to the Columbus Community Center, 3020 18th St., and in Norfolk, donations can be made at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. 5th St., or Lou’s Thrifty Way at 807 S. 13th St.
