Robotics event

Fifth-grader Grace Nilson, left, of St. Bernadette School in Bellevue, and fouth-grader Julia O'Day of Holy Cross School in Omaha, work together to build a robot Oct. 9 at Holy Cross’ Girl Powered Robotics Event. Assisted by Tara Peterson of Mary Our Queen School, also in Omaha, Kari Mansour of Holy Cross gathered about 35 girls from several schools for an evening of robotics and learning from four businesswomen in science, math, engineering and technology fields.
