School display honors Mary

Preschoolers through eighth graders at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Omaha honored Mary last month with posters about her appearances to people around the world, and statues dedicated in her honor.

Displayed at the parish’s Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Adalbert churches, the posters included photos, facts and even QR codes for people to go online and watch videos of the students praying or reciting poems to Mary.

The project was inspired by the school’s Charism Committee to help celebrate the Blessed Virgin and the gift of the rosary, said Megan Fiedler, principal.
