People from more than 50 Omaha-area parishes and high schools took their place along Dodge St./West Dodge Rd. in Omaha Oct. 3 to publicly bear witness to the sanctity of all human life and pray for an end to abortion during the annual Life Chain event, held to celebrate Respect Life Sunday (the first Sunday in October). Numerous rural parishes also took to the streets and highways in their own communities to take a stand for the unborn and against abortion.
