Time capsule

Members of the 2000 class of Our Lady of Lourdes School in Omaha, including from left, Meg (Latka) Peters, Matt Neneman and Ashley (Schramm) Suponchick, returned to the school Jan. 31 – the last school day of Catholic Schools Week – to take a trip down memory lane. With Father John Pietramale, pastor, at their side, they opened a “time capsule” they put together 20 years earlier and reviewed the contents before an all-school assembly. Items included Beanie Babies, Pokeman cards, stuffed animals, school papers, personal profiles they had filled out and letters they had written to their future selves. “Looking back on some of this stuff from 20 years ago was pretty funny,” said alum Kelly (Conley) Novotny.
