Virtual field trip at Elgin school

Sixth-grader Emma Lordemann at St. Boniface School in Elgin was among students reading questions to a trip host and students in other classrooms around the country during a virtual field trip to Mexico.

Lordemann’s classmates, and the fifth-graders at St. Boniface, made the real-time, online trip to Mexico in part to study the Mayan and Aztec cultures.
