Archbishop Bergan to hold banquet

Tours, Mass and dinner will be held at Archbishop Bergan Catholic elementary and middle/high schools in Fremont June 21 during the annual St. Patrick’s/Archbishop Bergan Catholic School Reunion Banquet and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction.

St. Patrick High School operated from 1948 to 1961.

Hall of Fame inductees are Joe Vojtech, who coached football, wrestling, track and other sports from 1972 to 1995; Clinton "Buddy" Lord, a football and basketball player at St. Patrick High School from 1948 to 1951; and three long-time contributors to Bergan’s athletic department – Jerry Mahlberg, Bob Vance and Joe Cajka.

Neil Feser will be honored as he leaves the school for other opportunities after 36 years of service.
