Author to speak about her post-abortion healing at EPS benefit dinner

Author Toni McFadden will speak at a Feb. 29 benefit dinner for Essential Pregnancy Services (EPS), sharing her post-abortion story of transformation and healing through forgiveness.

McFadden, who underwent an abortion as a frightened teen, is now an advocate for life. She will be keynote speaker at the 28th annual benefit dinner, EPS GLOW (Giving Life through Our Works!), at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.

Also at the dinner, EPS will recognize Sidewalk Advocates for Life of Omaha and Bellevue with a 2024 Spirit of EPS Award.

“Because of their commitment to life, they have guided mothers to the safety of EPS’ no-cost pregnancy and parenting services, through which women receive vital support and countless lives have been saved from abortion,” EPS said in a press release.

Registration for the 6:30 p.m. dinner, preceded by a 5:30 p.m. cocktail hour, is $75 per person or $750 for a table of 10.

Dr. Paul and Bernadette Esposito have been named honorary chairs for the dinner.
