Notre Dame Sisters to honor volunteer

The Notre Dame Sisters will honor Omaha native Jo Williams with the Mother Qualberta Service Award at the order’s 23rd annual Celebration of Spirit Dinner April 2 at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Omaha.

Williams, a director of asset management at Tenaska Inc. in Omaha, has partnered with the sisters for 17 years, serving on the Social Justice Committee the last 10 years and as committee chair the last five years. She also serves on several nonprofit boards including Wolf House Recovery, Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless (MACCH) and Siena-Francis House.
