Parishioners in Ponca honored with award

Two longtime members of St. Joseph Parish in Ponca were honored recently with the parish’s annual St. Joseph the Worker Award for service.
 
Michael Gibbs was recognized for his 12 years as music director, arranging the music and playing piano and organ at Sunday Masses, weddings and funerals.
 
Bob Logue, known as “the man to go to” for parish needs with utilities, lawn and cemetery care, also presently is serving as president of the parish council.
