Pro-life leader to headline breakfast

The leader of Americans United for Life (AUL), who underwent a traumatic abortion as a college student and now advocates for life from conception to natural death, will share her story at Essential Pregnancy Services’ eighth annual Breakfast for Life Aug. 18 in Omaha.

“I know the tears and the hurt that can come from abortion,” said Catherine Glenn Foster, president and CEO of the nonprofit law and policy organization based in Arlington, Va. “I know what these women are facing on the front end when they are alone and scared and they are not feeling that support from society. I feel this is my
calling, to reach out and to help women in life and in law in every level … to be able to empower women to choose life.”

The 9:15 a.m. breakfast at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish’s Mainelli Center costs $40 per person. Reservations are requested by Aug. 14. Tickets are available by telephone at 402-554-0121, online at friendsofeps.org/breakfastforlife, or by check payable to EPS with “breakfast” in the memo line and mailed to EPS offices at 6220 Maple St., Omaha NE 68104.
