Priest to celebrate 40th anniversary

Father Harold Buse, pastor of St. Bernadette Parish in Bellevue, will celebrate his 40th anniversary as a priest with an 11 a.m. Mass and luncheon July 2 at the church.

Father Buse, who grew up on a farm near West Point, has served urban and rural parishes in the archdiocese, including as pastor of St. Leo the Great in Omaha, St. Francis of Assisi in Neligh, St. Theresa of Avila in Clearwater and Sacred Heart in Norfolk.
