Roncalli High raises money for Annual Fund

Roncalli Catholic High School in Omaha raised about $17,000 during its first annual Taste of Pride wine-tasting fundraiser Dec. 7.

More than 230 guests paid $45 each to attend the event to raise money for the school’s annual fund, which provides scholarships and helps pay teachers’ salaries.

It also supports educational initiatives like the Benilde Program, which provides academic support for students with special educational needs, and the new Career Academy, a partnership with Metropolitan Community College for students interested in pursuing careers in health care, trades, technology and other fields.
