Sisters of Mercy elect leadership team

Five Sisters of Mercy were elected April 7 as a new leadership team for the Omaha-based Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, West Midwest Community, which stretches from San Francisco to Detroit.

 

Sisters Susan Sanders, president, and Ana Maria Pineda, vice president, will head the team, which also includes Sisters Maria Klosowski, Margaret Mary Hinz and Peg Maloney. 

The sisters’ backgrounds include experience in education, administration, health care, and pastoral, social justice and youth ministries.
