TEC family gathers for Encounter 2019

The Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) retreat movement will come together for its annual gathering at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minn., July 12-14. Members of the Catholic movement of spirituality for older adolescents and young adults meet each year for three days of fellowship, prayer and networking. Anyone 18 or older who is currently or has been involved in TEC is invited to attend.

The gathering is designed to serve the spiritual needs of participants and give them resources to bring back to their local TEC communities.

The keynote speaker for this year’s conference will be John Vitek, co-author of “Going, Going, Gone! The Dynamics of Disaffiliation in Young Catholics.” His talk will focus on the event’s theme, “Called by Christ, Affirmed in Love, Sent to Serve.”
