Pastor in Humphrey honored by high school

Father Patrick McLaughlin, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and president and a teacher at St. Francis elementary and high schools, all in Humphrey, was honored April 20 with seven others as inductees to Benson High Magnet School’s Hall of Fame in north Omaha.

 

Father McLaughlin grew up in north Omaha and graduated from the high school. He received a doctorate in inorganic chemistry before his ordination and went on to receive master’s degrees in divinity, theology and educational administration.
