Retirement center honors veterans

With bouquets of flowers, the posting of colors and playing of Taps, a guest speaker and refreshments, New Cassel Retirement Center in Omaha recognized men and women at the center – 45 veterans and 40 spouses of veterans – who served in the U.S. military, or on the homefront.

 

“Honoring Our Veterans” included guest speaker Father David Reeson, pastor of St. Columbkille Parish in Papillion, who also has served as an Air Force chaplain.
